Hello, I’m Tayla.
A human, mother, partner, daughter, sister and friend. I’m also a registered counsellor with a focus on perinatal support, women’s wellbeing and addiction recovery.

I hold a Bachelor of Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and bring years of experience in the human services field which includes roles between out of home care, mental health programs, drug and alcohol counselling, postpartum doula care and perinatal support. My approach is trauma-informed, and I view every individual as a complex being with an innate ability to heal. I do not subscribe to pathologizing; rather, I acknowledge the profound impact of our histories and culture on mental health, wellbeing, and psyche.

I deeply believe that healing happens when we honor the entirety of the human experience.

Beyond my formal qualifications, I am a mother raising my daughter alongside my partner here on Wiradjuri Country. Becoming a Mother marked a pivotal spiritual awakening for which led me to a path of deep self-exploration and ultimately led to the birth of Bloom Holistic Counselling.
